Seymour International, the UK’s market leading exporter of magazines are seeking an International Account Manager to handle key territories and develop retail level business plans that maximise sales for our publishing clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the biggest Magazine Export team in the UK and influence international strategy across the largest portfolio of UK exported magazines – you will work on big brands such as Grazia, Women’s Health, Harper’s Bazaar, Top Gear, and GQ. The role will require overseas travel in order to represent our clients at conferences and retailer meetings across the globe.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

* Managing distributor and retailer relationships in key territories

* Designing successful sales development plans in conjunction with our publishing clients

* Providing regular market updates including: market performance & trends, change in retail landscape, opportunities and risk

* Developing and maintain relationships with key retailers to maximise listings and implement market-leading promotional campaigns

* Attending publisher meetings & trade events with distributors and retailers, both in the UK and overseas

* Achieving budgeted sales revenue / gross margin targets

* Delighting our clients with your knowledge, idea generation and energy

Key Qualities/Experience in the Successful Candidate:

* Influencing skills (both strategic and operational)

* Account Management experience gained through delivery of key objectives

* Excellent inter-personal skills, able to communicate and build relationships with a broad base of external clients and distribution partners

* Strong analytical skills

* The ability to multi-task and manage own workload to deadlines whilst accommodating urgent requests

* Ability to solve problems and ability to use own initiative to drive change and improvement

* Able to handle confidential information and demonstrate required sensitivity

* Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software

* Presentation skills
