This is a really exciting vacancy for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an award-winning BD team in a leading International law firm.
This role offers candidates the opportunity to join one of the world's leading TMC practices. You will be part of a dynamic and creative team of international partners, associates and BD professionals, and will help them drive the firm's strategy in this fast-moving and ever-changing sector. Supporting one of the firm's key industry groups, the role sits right at the heart of the firm, offering the successful candidate significant international exposure. Reporting into the Head of Business Development for International Practices & Sectors, the International Business Development Manager will advise and support the International TMC Group Leader in developing and implementing the TMC strategic plan. The successful candidate will work to help identify a core group of target clients and work with partners to exploit growth opportunities. The International Business Development Manager will co-ordinate activities leading to the development of new service offerings and international thought leadership projects designed to promote the group, raise its profile and drive new business development activity. This role will not have any direct reports, but will draw on the support and expertise of other local and international BD, Marketing and PR professionals.
You will be able to demonstrate an outstanding track record of BD, including managing significant international BD projects or initiatives, and have experience working within a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of global technology ecosystems, preferably right across the TMC spectrum and experience of leadership within the BD community. The International Business Development Manager will need to possess a strong ability to influence partners and enjoy working as part of a small, closely-knit team. A real commercial instinct and excellent communication skills are also prerequisite.
