Our Enterprise Lifecycle Management
(ELM) team provides a wide-ranging group of IT solutions across the whole of
our healthcare business, we operate a combination of Agile and waterfall
projects and have a strong focus on following DevOps principles. Our migration
to Cloud technology has started- we are utilising public, private and hybrid
along with all three Cloud services SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
We are looking for a Lead IT
Technical Consultant who will play a key role in writing or reviewing technical
system designs, ensuring that they meet business requirements, align to our
enterprise architecture and adheres to AXA IT standards. You will be joining us
at an exciting time during our transition to Cloud technology.
As a Lead IT
Technical Consultant you will ensure the most appropriate application solution
designs are delivered inline with the target architecture and technology
roadmaps. You will be responsible for the upfront scoping and estimating of
application change and working with our Enterprise Architects, influence our
technology roadmaps to ensure AXA’s IT technical debt is maintained at the
depth development/engineering knowledge and experience of at least two industry
leading technologies, such as Microsoft .NET or Java, and able to demonstrate
the ability to adapt to new technologies
of working within complex technical environments within a global organisation
knowledge of development lifecycles and strong experience of early stages of
development (e.g. requirements impact assessment / analysis and design)
to translate business requirements into detailed technical design
to generate and evaluate work estimates
facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills
problem solving and influencing skills
of appropriate business practice, approach and process
understanding of current & target architecture
Any of the below would be a bonus!
of Cloud technology and ideally experience of migrating applications to IaaS,
PaaS or SaaS
application architecture knowledge within Insurance sector
