The Global Advertising Partner Development team is looking for a talented, driven and experienced manager to lead the Channel Marketing team in Europe. The successful candidate will be a strong manager, an effective leader and communicator, and will have an understanding of our primary marketing channels (Email, Events, Webinars). In this role you will be expected to lead marketing activities for our partners across Europe, including go to market campaigns, Co-Marketing initiatives, and recurring marketing programs such as quarterly webinars and monthly email newsletters. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall marketing mix for our European partners, including maintaining a centralized marketing calendar, contributing to WW reporting, and launching new campaigns to bring our marketing operations in Europe closer to parity with the US. The candidate should have experience analyzing business opportunities, building strong relationships, driving impact through marketing, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. They will work with a variety of Advertising partners – and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of these organizations. This position will also be responsible for managing a team of marketing managers, and must be skilled at influencing and getting work done through others.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree
6+ years of marketing experience
2+ years of people management experience
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Knowledge of European marketing trends and channels
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Masters in Marketing
Experience in ad serving, search engines, CPC advertising, SEO/SEM
Experience working across borders and operating over VC
