Market Intelligence Manager - Qual & Quant West Yorkshire £35,000 to £40,000 + Bens
My client is the world's number one supplier of global manufacturing support services. In the UK, they provide customers with both new and used equipment options, along with a vast range of service and customer care options. Due to significant growth within their sales division, they are looking to appoint a Market Intelligence Manager to help underpin their go to market strategy with real insight and also to help identify the causes for territories that are not performing.
In this newly created role, the successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Marketing, but will work cross-functionally across the entire business providing vital support and to all departments. The role will be responsible for (but not limited to) providing the following:-
- Qual and Quant based market research - CRM Management - Market segmentation and analysis - Competitor analysis - Keeping the business up to date with industry news and challenges - Customer grouping and identification - Diagnosing the root causes for sales decline within specific geographical regions
To be considered for this role, candidates must have worked in a similar role in the past and also have very strong Excel skills in order to manage and monitor the intelligence they gather. Advanced spreadsheets and pivot tables will be how you manage your data day to day, so you must have advanced proficiency in this area.
