To create and manage the implementation of the Abingdon Flooring marketing plan. You will act as a brand ambassador for the company, ensuring all marketing output is to a consistently high standard and within the company’s brand guidelines. You will implement new marketing strategies in line with the business plan growth strategy.
1.Manage the day to day marketing activities, including sales tools, new product development, catalogues, promotions, POS, direct marketing, sampling, advertising, PR, exhibitions, digital marketing and internal communications.
2.Develop the Abingdon Flooring marketing plan in accordance with the marketing and brand strategy.
3.Work closely with the Sales team to develop appropriate tools and support.
4.Manage the development of new ranges including product selection, pricing, brochures, POS and customer recruitment.
5.Develop appropriate internal communications material, including a quarterly company newsletter.
6.Manage the company’s IP portfolio of trademarks, designs and patents.
7.Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
8.Control marketing costs in line with budget and forecast.
9.Develop and implement appropriate KPIs and reporting for all marketing activities, ensuring that marketing objectives are achieved.
10.Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
11.Support the Managing Director in key programs.
12.Customer meetings and presentations where appropriate.
13.Work closely with external agencies where necessary.
14.Create artwork using industry standard software
Skills and Experience
1.Experience of managing marketing teams, ideally with both B2B & B2C exposure.
2.Degree level / qualified chartered marketer.
3.Strong analytical and project management skills.
4.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
5.Effective communicator and collaborator inside and outside the business.
6.Strong creative outlook.
You will report directly to the Managing Director.
