Reporting to the Administration Manager, the Marketing Administrator will be responsible for all areas of a marketing strategy from the development of different elements to their execution, this will include anything from creating surveys/market research to organising the distribution of literature, graphics and other marketing materials. The successful person will also be responsible for maintaining the Rolls-Royce Leisure website/Intranet site and other social media and marketing tools as well as managing enquiries generated by our e-presence.
Hours of work:
Working hours are 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday with a half hour unpaid lunch break. Out of office hours (including weekends) may be required.
Permanent subject to a six month probationary period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating, writing and editing sales and marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content of all materials produced.
Responsible for e-marketing and the Rolls-Royce Leisure presence on other social media, including the Company’s Facebook pages and Twitter accounts, ensuring search engine optimisation for Rolls-Royce Leisure services, products and websites and blogs etc.
Write and distribute professional marketing and PR material where required.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing communications activities.
Digital and social media:
Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns.
Responsible for updating and developing all digital media.
Regularly updating copy and images on the website using the content management system.
Creating and sending regular e-bulletins using mail marketing tools.
Developing and maintaining all aspects of social media applications including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube and other applications.
Producing monthly tracking reports using Google Analytics, email and social media analysis tools.
Become a clear and effective point of contact for all marketing and PR correspondence and sales information.
The right person will find creative ways in which to promote the Company and its activities, services and products.
This person must be able to think outside of the box, willing to take risks and be prepared to come up with new ideas quickly, they should be resilient, confident, energetic, extremely motivated, professional and maintain a positive approach to their job.
This person must also possess outstanding communication and leadership skills, as this position requires influencing others and making sure everyone is on the same page.
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration or a related subject preferred.
Excellent written and verbal skills are essential as is good copy-writing skills, preferably in a hospitality/leisure context as this would be an advantage.
Web maintenance/e-marketing experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools in a commercial environment.
Able to work alone or as part of a close team with good planning and management skills, working on multiple project deadlines with a focus on the details.
Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of marketing and PR principles at all times.
