Marketing Administrator

Salary: £17,000 to £19,000

Benefits: Excellent career opportunity, 29 days holiday inc bank holidays + increase 1 day per year up to 34 days, Pension scheme, Healthcare plan.

Hours: Full time, Permanent

Location: Halifax, HX1

Our client, formed in Halifax in April 1986 quickly became established and acknowledged as providers of high-quality advice by its clients, banks, Inland Revenue and other local professionals. Their credibility is based of the firm foundations of up-to-the-minute expertise and advice, coupled with a local business knowledge and approach.

Due to continued success they are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to help revolutionise and transform the firm from traditional to modern, whilst still maintaining core values of trust, honesty and integrity. Your time will be split between admin tasks and marketing the company to pull them into the 2020’s utilising modern technology.

Duties Include:

  • Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations and setting up for meetings
  • Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, van hire and making hotel reservations.
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail
  • Posting blogs, events and articles on internal and external websites and all businesses social media pages
  • Assistance with marketing activities through social media platforms, magazines and digital marketing channels bringing new, creative ideas and enthusiasm
  • Proactively develop and deliver creative advertising campaigns and promotions
  • Assist with managing Social media pages
  • Identify product promotional opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Admin experience essential
  • Marketing experience essential
  • Previous experience with social media marketing
  • Comfortable with technology and secure data transfer
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Able to work on his/her own initiative
  • Well organised
  • Resourceful and imaginative
