Marketing and Events Officer

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

£21,223 - £23,041, per annum

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our team promoting City College Norwich, Easton College and Paston College. Our colleges are the biggest provider of post-16 education in Norfolk including higher education, apprenticeships, A levels and a huge range of vocational and technical qualifications.

As an experienced Marketing and Events Officer, you’ll be involved in everything from digital student recruitment campaigns to prospectuses, content creation and management to web analytics together with some high-profile public events. You’ll also have plenty of autonomy to shape your projects.

You’ll need excellent writing skills, solid and current experience across the full range of digital communications, an unerring eye for detail and top interpersonal skills. You will be social media savvy, creative and familiar with all the usual IT and you must have at least two years’ experience in a similar role, in-house or in an agency. Education, public sector, or not-for-profit experience is a bonus.

In return we offer the chance to be part of a big and friendly organisation and gain great experience in this vibrant and rewarding part of the education sector. If you’ve got the skills and you’re ready for a challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
