The role we're recruiting for: Trade Planning Assistant / Marketing Assistant
We are currently looking for exceptional colleagues to join us in this newly created role of Trade Planning Assistant. The key purpose of this newly formed function will be to co-ordinate, drive and optimise the 12 month rolling Trade plan for the category ie promotions, micro-seasons, promotional space and online. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a high profile new area within the support centre.
Coordinating campaigns working with key stakeholders from all areas of the business in order to deliver successful campaigns
Managing the Critical Path linked to the Trading Plan
The analysis, evaluation and reporting on promotional performance against the plan
Managing the company Trading Plan, looking out for clashes in activity and liaising with stakeholders to ensure that these do not impact the implementation of this promotional activity
Managing SKU level and space changes to campaigns, identifying whether these changes are right for the business and liaising with key teams to ensure these changes have been communicated
Internal and store communications
Competitor Tracking to ensure the company is remaining competitive within the market
Assisting in producing briefs for key campaigns communicating with all areas of the business to ensure the expectations within these briefs are met
Assisting in producing post implementation reviews after campaign launches to retain information to help the business improve upon future campaigns
Skills & Experience
* A successful track record within your role, whether that be operations or head office based
* A highly analytical mindset
* Stakeholder management is key for this role, whether that be working closely with Category teams or supporting your wider team
* Excellent excel skills
* Delivery of business / operational initiatives
* Knowledge of how our stores work
