Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and innovate thinker to assist and have responsibility with specific projects and tasks including direct marketing, digital marketing, communications and PR, creation and production of collateral, event management and market research.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Managing and co-ordinating meetings relating to marketing-led projects, ensuring that cross functional team members have all appropriate materials
  • Supporting involvement at industry events and exhibitions; liaises with external events’ teams and suppliers and provide logistic and planning support
  • Play a supporting role in the delivery of internal and external communications, including newsletters, news blasts, email marketing, group meetings and events
  • Arrange effective ordering and distribution of marketing materials; liaises with suppliers, ensuring receipt of competitive pricing and the best solutions available
  • Support with content management through internal and external channels, including website uploads, email marketing content, sales and marketing supporting material, marketing and communications templates and the image library.
  • Able to create and have skills to be able to use a wide range of tools to allow effective communication
  • Maintain and update information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Liaise with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required such as competitor analysis and market research
  • Telemarketing activity
  • Undertake research relating to key dates, events and activities to make recommendations for them to be added to the Event Calendar.
Marketing Assistant Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritise work using the case management system efficiently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal form
  • Work effectively with other employees and external parties
  • Skilled at organising tasks and projects in a timely and orderly manner
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Ability to influence across the organisation and work effectively at all levels across the organisation
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong at problem solving and ability to produce creative solutions
