The Marketing Associate will be based on-site (working from home during COVID-19) for our global investment banking client to drive and implement marketing initiatives for the Global Equities Research division.

The team's marketing efforts increase client awareness of the analysts, strategists and economists, and the content they produce, in addition to positioning the client's Research division as differentiated from competitors.

The Marketing Associate will work closely with the regional Marketing Lead, the London marketing team and will be collaborating with global team members in New York and Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will have experience in marketing and technology, and will have ideally honed their skills within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have project management expertise and have experience independently organising, leading, running, managing and implementing marketing campaigns.

We are seeking a creative thinker who is able to manage their responsibilities effectively and brings ideas to the team. This role requires a person with excellent attention to detail, marketing know-how, business acumen, strong organisational and project management skills, and good judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with analysts to create campaigns for key research and client initiatives, leveraging video and digital marketing platforms.

• Owning and driving the lifecycle of creating high quality analyst and marketing videos in a timely manner, including but not limited to: assisting in the development of video scripts, creating and formatting video visuals/graphics, working very closely with the video editors, inputting video metadata, and submitting videos for regulatory approval.

• Collaborating with the global marketing team and marketing analytics team to create and execute on key marketing test ideas (A/B testing, 10/10/80 etc.), to learn from and execute for future marketing strategies.

• Actively reviewing client analytics/reporting data (readership, viewership etc.), and leveraging analytics to drive future outcomes.

• Working and providing support on campaigns related to external industry surveys.

• Providing support on department and regional research campaigns, as and when required.

• Interacting with management, regional stakeholders and technical teams from numerous functions across the business and being instrumental in helping to implement key initiatives.

• Partnering with other marketing teams outside research on key marketing projects, including key investor conferences.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Good undergraduate degree or similar qualification – essential.

• 2+ years of successful project management experience in a marketing environment – essential.

• Strong Excel and Power Point skills – essential.

• Experience gained within the financial services industry – desirable.

• Experience using Photoshop – desirable.
