Virgin Media are currently seeking a Marketing Campaign Manager on a 12 month FTC to join our Acquisition marketing our team. The Acquisition marketing team is responsible for creating marketing communications that drive demand into the business – across online, call centres and retail. Job Purpose

The job of the Campaign Marketing Manager is to assist the Senior Campaign Marketing Manager to deliver integrated and efficient acquisition campaigns across a number of broadcast marketing channels (examples include DRTV, Radio, Print and Inserts) for both Cable and Mobile acquisition ensuring the customer journey is integrated.

You will need to work closely with a number of stakeholders both internally and externally so excellent communication skills are key to this role along with a strong creative eye.

Key Accountabilities

Planning:

* Support the Senior Campaign Marketing Manager to develop and brief creative and media agencies on audience insights writing creative briefs that integrate with the brand and deliver against objectives
* Supporting the Senior Campaign Marketing Manager in day to day management of media campaigns
* Support the Senior Manager on optimising the best use of our budgets to drive demand – including forecasting of each channel
* Communicate plans to relevant stakeholders across the business working closely with Commercial, Brand and Online teams

Campaign management:

* Ensure campaign is delivered on time and within budget to hit KPI(s)
* Strong creative eye – able to think about what stands out against competitors and is relevant for the audience in each channel and against brief objective
* Customer focused – ensure that campaigns have a joined up customer journey from creative through to sale, working closely with internal stake holders including telesales, retail and online
* Relationship management – work with multiple stake holders both internally and externally to ensure campaign is delivered and approved on time
* Works across the marketing function to ensure campaigns are integrated and adheres to overall brand look and feel.
* Maintains regular dialogue with creative agencies to ensure integration of message and media.

Review and Optimise:

* Results driven – work closely with Senior Campaign manager, media, creative agencies and internal insight teams to develop quarterly learning's
* Present and share campaign performance across the business and with our agencies showing the value that campaigns drive including recommendations on next quarterly activity
* Identify relevant trends and audience breakdowns to inform optimisation where relevant

Essential Knowledge & Experience

* Ability to develop innovative and eye-catching campaigns – creative flair and passion
* Proactive and can do attitude
* Ability to challenge existing ways of doing things
* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Can prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Strong time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and organisation skills – both written and verbal
* Strong stakeholder management
* commercial awareness for pricing and analysing data
* Ability to work well within a team and on their own
* Adaptable and flexible – able to react quickly
* Results orientated with strong analytical ability
* Good negotiating and interpersonal skills
* Sound ability with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Required qualifications / experience

* Marketing experience in a similar role (client or agency side) Ideally with DR channel experience

* Undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing
* Experience of managing and delivering marketing creative, including working with and managing creative agencies
* Experience of managing a communications and media plan, and proven track record in delivery results according to target
