About the role
In an exciting time of change at LV=, the GI Broker team are ahead of the game keeping everyone informed. In the role of Marketing and Communications Manager you will lead the team that creates multi-channel B2B interactions. You will create engaging copy that drives forward the marketing and communications strategy; devise digital-first campaigns and manage their execution; and help shape the LV= brand for the broker division and beyond.
Collaboration is key to this role, working with key stakeholders to ensure our marketing campaigns support business growth and development plans. Together with the Creative and Events team you will contribute to a shared creative work space on all things B2B marketing! You will lead your direct reports on new initiatives and support the team culture of empowerment and innovation – new ideas are welcome and everybody contributes.
This full time role is based from the Brentwood office, and the position by its nature could offer some flexibility with working arrangements to accommodate individual requirements. You will lead by example and embody the LV= values as a positive mentor to your team. You are a brilliant copywriter, with imaginative flair and the ability to target your readership with innovative communications that cleverly meet B2B marketing needs. With both sides of the brain working, your creativity is directed by strong data and analytical skills: identifying trends, evaluating the market place and targeting your copy appropriately.
Your marketing plans and the materials you have created have followed the changing nature of our sector by becoming increasingly digital, with multichannel marketing of social media, email marketing, video, and apps to engage the B2B marketplace.
You have had some experience managing a team of your own: devising workflows, positively mentoring your reports, and improving the skills, behaviours and impact of a team.
But now you’re looking for a new challenge! You want to lead a team in a national leading insurer and have the ambition to join at a time of change where you can steer direction. You are confident to be the face of the brand at exhibitions and events, and liaise with external and internal stakeholders to deliver the LV=Broker marketing strategy.
In this role you will be delivering high quality and engaging communication that is aligned to the LV=GI values and complements the business’ aims and brand both internally to stakeholders in various areas of the business, and externally B2B supporting our strategy and PR activities.
You will develop and refine the user experience of our digital marketing channels and strive for continuous improvements of all marketing and communications to ensure they are meeting the needs of the user and up to date with rapidly evolving technology. This digital first approach means you will be keeping abreast of changes and seeking to introduce new solutions to the team.
Your data-driven approach to all marketing activities means that you are able to target and personalise communications, using data to build customer insights and identify new opportunities faster than our competitors.
By evaluating LV=Broker’s marketing activities, you will analyse the appropriate data and metrics to assess their effectiveness, offer insight into best practices and ensure that in all business activity the time, cost, quality and compliance requirements are met, but ideally beaten!
You will work closely with the Broker Marketing Director and step up to deputise for them during periods of absence, so this role offers great development opportunities: taking responsibility for your team’s, and your own, development.
