We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team based in Milton Keynes. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of marketing communications activity for the Personal customer campaign team across all media channels.

The Marketing Communications team within Marketing is responsible for developing & delivering the marketing communications strategy for each business division, owning the overall marketing vision & communications plans for Santander UK.

As a Marketing Communications Manager your main responsibilities will be

* To deliver campaigns across different areas of the media mix (inc. paid for, owned and earned channels) from TV, Digital channels (e.g. online, digital merchandising), branch communications, video, press, outdoor and radio.

* Managing both acquisition and BAU CRM activity for Personal customers (including Direct Mail, email & SMS activity.

* Supporting the evaluation and analysis of all communications activity, identifying key learnings and best practice.

* The delivery of national branch advertising (e.g. posters, digital merchandising, leaflets) throughout the year to support the ongoing branch communications plan.

* Day to day management of creative, media & CRM agencies.

* Managing key internal stakeholders in the development and approval of all communication activity – to include Product teams, Compliance, Brand, Planning, Selections teams - delivering scheduled activity on time/budget.

* The management of budgets and activity timing plans.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Suitable experience and understanding of marketing communications, ideally gain in financial services or similar environment with experience of briefing & managing creative agencies. Agency management experience across both creative and media agencies.

* Passionate about creative and content with excellent writing skills and ability to critique externally written copy.

* Excellent stakeholder management & influencing skills. Extensive marketing communications experience, with a focus on creative, content and media strategies. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail & ability to juggle a number of projects at the same time against tight deadlines.

* Competent IT skills, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Educated to degree level or equivalent marketing qualification.
