An exciting communications opportunity has arisen within a leading medium-sized law firm. The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for all external communications including branding, the firm's website, social media presence and eCommunications with clients and prospects.
With direct responsibility for four members of the communications team, the successful candidate will be expected to bring a strategic and planned approach to developing action plans for all marcomms related activity. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking marcomms specialist to bring some fresh ideas to the firm's marketing function. The Marketing Communications Manager will develop and execute a marketing communications plan in order to build the brand and profile of the firm across its target markets. Acting as the guardian of the firm's brand, you will ensure all materials are consistent in tone of voice and messaging and in keeping with the firm's house style and visual identity, including managing the proof reading process across the team to ensure all external communications are in-line with brand guidelines. From an online perspective, the role holder will develop a content plan for next phase of the website following its launch in 2017 which should include new media ideas and fresh content and must ensure the website is fully effective at pushing content out to users and review usage statistics through web analytics tools, making recommendations for site improvements. You will also develop the firm's social media strategy, ensuring the firm's social media presence continues to grow with relevant audiences and educate fee earners on the use of social media including best practice and how to build their personal brands. You will be responsible for working with the BD team to produce and implement both practice-wide and firm-wide marketing campaigns, support partners and designated fee-earners on the development and production of all practice area materials and provide specialist support in the development of award submissions to ensure the firm is presented favourably.
The ideal candidate must be an experienced marketing communications professional who can demonstrate a successful track record within a professional services or consultancy environment. Educated to degree level, the Marketing Communications Manager must be strategic, proactive and tenacious with excellent influencing skills and the ability to establish credibility quickly at senior levels. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are a must.
