Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Co-ordinator who is motivated, hands-on and passionate about their role, offering excellent service and standards to their customers. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing you will be expected to ensure the smooth delivery of marketing outputs within Retail and Trade Partners.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  •  Support the activation of their group Selling Plan.
  •  Provide marketing support to all Group Divisions to grow and retain their established customer base whilst supporting the divisions in acquiring new business.
  •  Produce creative briefs and liaise with their design and agency teams to provide market leading content and collateral for both B2B and B2C segments.
  •  Implement cross channel marketing communication campaigns ensuring use of the full marketing mix
  •  Liaise with creative teams and internal stakeholders (including trading, logistics, sales and operations) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing services to divisions/customers.
  •  Create and execute marketing plans to support local store activity including store launches and refits, liaising with key stakeholders in delivering appropriate marketing content including print, event support and social media.
  •  Ensure accurate records of activity are maintained to ensure timely delivery of activity against budgets and timescales.
  •  Undertake detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met
  •  Keep abreast of competitor promotional activity especially in leaflets, websites, and in-store PoS.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:

  •  High level of numeracy and literacy and 5 x GCSE’s (A-C) is essential
  •  Further qualifications in business and/or marketing would be preferred
  •  Working understanding and knowledge of marketing is essential
  •  Demonstrable retail marketing experience would be advantageous
  •  Experience within a foodservice organisation is desirable but not essential
  •  Creative thinker with great copy writing skills
  •  Competence in customer relationship management and website/database management preferable

Key Job Info:

  •  May be required to travel to sites other than normal place of work for business purposes
  •  Could be required to stay away from home overnight or attend evening events on behalf of the business
