About the Role
Our client are now looking for a Marketing Data Analytics and Database Manager, reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be eager to learn with a passion and drive for their customers, data, marketing and insight along with the creativity and initiative to improve our business.
You will support their busy marketing team and the wider business with day-to-day, data management support for marketing analytics and reporting, as well as customer, competitor and market intelligence.
You will be responsible for SalesForce, ensuring that it is fit for purpose for marketing functions to effectively identify, segment and target customers with personalised and relevant communication, optimising their use of data, acting as the conduit for all marketing requests for customer data to ensure that they select and use data more effectively to maximise the performance of their activity and measurement and attribution, ensuring that they know the value of everything they do - proving the value of Group Marketing and ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of all activity.
They are looking for someone who has experience of working within a marketing / business intelligence environment, working with marketing-focused analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics) and data analysis techniques and advanced Excel. Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives, working with visualisation and reporting software (e.g, Tableau) and excellent numerical and analytical ability, inquisitive and interested in making data useful and insightful.
You should have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations, be highly adaptable and versatile, ready to change direction to support business needs whilst managing a varied workload to tight deadlines and be comfortable working independently under your own initiative to identify and improve current processes.
