The role: The Marketing Executive will help develop a best-in-class inbound marketing strategy, using the latest marketing technology (Pardot, Salesforce). The role reports directly in to the Marketing Director, with dotted line support from a senior member of the team. The team are focused around two core objectives that ultimately drive revenue and growth of the business -

  • (B2C) Generate an increased volume and quality of candidate/job seeker applications online
  • (B2B) Develop a lead generation strategy (including a defined lead scoring model) that will enable the sales teams to acquire new clients and retain existing clients

The Marketing Director believes in developing marketers across a breadth of marketing channels, so this Marketing Executive will be involved in creating both B2C (job seekers) and B2B (prospect companies) campaigns. This will involve the role holder getting involved with content creation, the website, email automation, Google Analytics, PPC, SEO, social media and any other channel as required.

This is a commercial marketing role, with a focus on digital marketing channels, and therefore will require someone to be constantly analysing, improving and reporting to senior stakeholders the successes of campaigns.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Learning and improving your understanding of the business, the different divisions, offices and each of their specific goals
  • Working with the wider marketing team (5 in total) to establish, develop and deliver a best-in-class inbound marketing strategy
  • Continuing the growing influence of content by creating and curating different formats as seen fit (video, blogs, articles, social posts, trends, insights etc)
  • Executing marketing campaigns across email (Pardot/Salesforce), social (paid and organic), and other digital (SEO/PPC) channels
  • Analysing and reporting on all marketing campaigns using Google Analytics, Salesforce and Pardot analytics and social media scheduling tools
  • Joint-ownership over the website platform management - content, SEO (via agency) and UX
  • Developing your skills across all areas of marketing with on-site training, off-site training and self-learning

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Written marketing copy - have a natural flair for B2C and B2B content
  • Used website management systems - uploading content
  • Worked across a variety of social media channels, ideally with knowledge of scheduling tools
  • Run and executed commercial lead generation marketing campaigns
  • A naturally outgoing personality with a drive to perform in a commercial environment

The package:

  • Basic salary - £25,000-28,000
  • Bonus scheme - 10%
