Trimble is recruiting for a Marketing Co-ordinator to fill a (Fixed Term for 2 years) temporary opportunity in Leeds

The Marketing executive will join the small UK marketing team, working with UK business to deliver a full events programme to the construction market in the UK and Ireland. The team is responsible for marketing the range of Tekla software products to Structural Engineers, Steel Fabricators and Construction Contractors. With a wide variety from webinars to exhibitions and everything in between, delivered throughout the year, events form the backbone of our marketing activity.
This role will suit a marketing graduate with an interest in B2B marketing and no more than 2 years’ experience in a marketing role. Whilst being well organised, the ideal candidate also needs to have had customer facing work experience. An interest in technology, engineering and construction would be beneficial but of more importance is the ability to talk, engage and interact with people from all walks of life, both face-to-face and through social media.

Ability to plan, deliver and manage activities to achieve targets in a planned and focused manner
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time effectively, working without supervision as required
Maintain good administrative practices ensuring tasks can be covered during periods of absence

The role will be based at our Leeds office and will involve an element of national travel

Responsibilities and Expectations in the role include:
Plan, organise and deliver a programme of events that includes exhibitions, workshops, user days and webinars to demonstrate our cutting edge technology
Work closely with the sales team and other parts of the business to deliver these events
Develop effective working relationships with industry associations and third-party suppliers
Measure the success of events activity and suggest ways to improve
Take responsibility for planning and delivering the social media content for Trimble Solutions UK Could we say planning and delivering creative social media content in order to support brand development
Measure the success of social media activity and suggest ways to support continuous improvement
Work with the UK Marketing Team to coordinate the communications and event calendar
Keep up to date with all Trimble Solutions software products
Ability to learn about the other market sectors in which the UK business operates – steel, concrete, engineering, etc
Understanding of all marketing channels including social media and the ability to apply this knowledge to a business environment.
Interest in developing skills in existing and new areas of marketing
Represent Trimble at industry events as required
Taking an active interest as a team member in all team responsibilities.
Liaise with all other teams within Trimble, particularly within Finland, to gain maximum benefit throughout the organization
Ensure you represent Trimble at all times, on the phone, by email, in person.
Any other tasks as defined by the UK Managing Director and the Marketing Manager
