Position: Marketing Executive

Location: Stoneleigh, Surrey

Job Overview:

Supporting the Marketing Manager with day to day marketing activities: including events, campaigns, generating reports/research, PPC, SEO, the company websites

Principle Interactions:

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager
  • Mentoring and developing Digital Marketing Apprentice
  • Interaction with external suppliers, where appropriate
  • Interaction with all Skyguard employees, where appropriate

Scope of work

  • Plan and execute SEO/SEM, marketing database and display advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with external suppliers/software providers and internal teams to execute the company’s marketing plan
  • Measure and report on performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Supporting with the general planning, organising and running of events
  • Managing the PPC digital agency, paid media - programmatic, display and remarketing awareness/lead generation campaigns
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation - website, landing pages, workflows and user journeys
  • SEO - on and off page tactics
  • Identify trends, insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Website design and creation of landing pages for optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Design and produce content, copy and imagery for marketing collateral as required
  • Copy writing and proof reading
  • Provide creative input to new product & service development/launches
  • Updating CRM and other company systems, where appropriate
  • Assist any other department with Ad-hoc projects as requested

Skills and experience

  • Marketing Degree / CIM /IDM or equivalent qualification
  • 2 years previous experience working in Digital Marketing (preferably B2B)
  • Google Analytics Pro (Advanced)
  • Google AdWords Account Management experience
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Experienced with using current digital marketing platforms, systems & design software
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Flexible approach to business requirements
  • Knowledge of Wordpress & Adobe
  • Knowledge of CRM software systems (preferable)
  • Event Management Experience (preferable)
  • Copy writing and proof reading
  • PC literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of DotDigital & Thrive
