The Role: Working for a leading Airline, the Marketing Executive tactical lead defines the communication strategy for tactical campaigns and manages these campaigns and all e-acquisition channels in order to maximise return on investment (ROI) in the UK and Ireland.

This role is therefore instrumental to driving incremental direct online revenue, you will be the expert in multi-channel campaigns and will possess strong creative flair, technical expertise and outstanding planning skills.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Executive include:

  • Defining the communication strategy for each campaign and be the guardian of the campaign calendar nationwide
  • Managing communication channels (on and offline) and maximising the use of communication channels, selecting the best channel mix for the best ROI
  • Leading the media buying process
  • Developing new or enhancing / reusing existing assets in line with communication objectives
  • Managing the relationship with HQ digital and marketing departments
  • Overseeing and managing incumbent agencies (creative, PR and media) ensuring they are quality driven, efficient while cost effective. Selecting new agencies as required.
  • Managing individual campaign budgets
  • Seeking ways to improve the processes and flow of information within all stakeholders
  • Localizing all centrally initiated campaigns and managing the coordination with HQ
  • Negotiating with HQ the timing, content, duration, legality and relevancy of the proposed campaigns and concepts to fit local requirements
  • Proactively sharing with HQ relevant market intelligence for the adjustment or development of existing or new concepts and campaigns

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Marketing including of campaign management - ideally acquired within a similar role with 4+ years of experience
  • Relevant marketing qualification
  • Agency management and cost negotiating
  • Media buying
  • Campaign budget management
  • Offline media (radio, print, outdoor, cinema, TV) and online media (newsletter, social, programmatic display, metasearch, affiliation and paid search) landscape knowledge
  • Understanding of segmentation and personalisation
  • Excellent command of English, with good copywriting skills
