The role:

This Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Brand Marketing Communications, will be responsible for delivering a targeted communications strategy for a leading brand of this internationally renowned media business. The objective of the role is to raise awareness of the brand, drive an increase in readership and convert readers to subscribers. The Marketing Manager will be required to manage all the media agency, creative agency, and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure a cohesive, 'on-brand' campaign strategy. The role-holder will own campaign budgets and be the main contact for planning and booking of all media channel activity, including TV, Radio, OOH, and Print Advertising. The successful candidate will not only have a thorough understanding of ATL marketing and media buying, but also have an understanding of wider marketing and communications channels (email, social and web). The ideal background of a marketing professional coming in to this role will be a consumer/media/TV/agency background.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Manager:

  • Developing the communication strategy
  • Increasing brand awareness and driving traffic to the website
  • Building internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Creating campaign briefs and strategy for all agencies
  • Managing campaign budgets
  • Working on fully integrated marketing campaigns - OOH, Radio, TV and Paid Media
  • Analysing campaign successes and reporting to key stakeholders

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience working for a media agency or a consumer media/TV/publishing business
  • Extensive experience working with and managing stakeholders and agencies
  • An interest in media and the gaming industry
  • A passion for consumer marketing
  • First class communication skills
  • A clear ability to build relationships over the phone and face to face
  • Experience working under pressure to tight deadlines

The Package for Marketing Manager:

  • Salary: £34,000-37,000 + 10% Bonus
