The Role of Marketing Manager (6-month FTC):

The Marketing Manager role is a new role within the division and will initially be on a 6-month FTC. With success comes the opportunity for this role to become permanent. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Marketing Manager within the live experience/events department. You will be responsible for managing all client relationships for partnerships and supporting delegate acquisition to events via marketing channels. On a day-to-day basis within this new role, the candidate will be liaising with internal teams such as email, social and research, as well as a content/video agency to fulfil the clients' objectives. The Marketing Manager will be regularly meeting and building on the partnerships, producing event timelines and managing the overall marketing strategy, budget and tactical execution of campaigns. The Marketing Manager must have a high and efficient level of organisation, social confidence and love global travel.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Manager (6-month FTC) include:

  • Liaising with the Senior Marketing Manager to understand clients' expectations and goals
  • Creating event timelines and managing budgets
  • Executing multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive delegate attendance to the events
  • Managing client relationships
  • Flying to global events to be on-site to manage clients and delegates
  • Utilising a broad marketing mix including email, social, website, advertising (online and offline), and PR
  • Working with internal support teams (email, social, research, telemarketing) where necessary

To be considered for the role of Marketing Manager (6-month FTC) you must have:

  • Knowledge of full-mix marketing channels
  • A minimum of 18 months marketing experience
  • Client-facing or project management experience
  • A passion for travelling
  • Exposure and familiarity within B2B events
