We now have the opportunity for a driven, creative and confident Digital Marketing Manager to manage a team of enthusiastic marketing executives, in our fast-paced, vibrant offices in Fulwood, Preston and to help grow these brands.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in marketing and previous management experience too.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the management team, the ideal candidate will be commercially aware, with a 'can-do' attitude and be able to demonstrate solid previous marketing experience across a range of marketing principles, for example: SEO / PPC / Social / Email.

Whilst the marketing manager doesn't need to be a technical expert (we have development and analytics teams for the techy stuff) they do need a good understanding of what we're trying to achieve and be able to advise the team on how to get the most from our campaigns.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As our Marketing Manager, you will be expected to manage and develop the marketing team to deliver on our key marketing KPIs, to include:-

  • Traffic - ensure all channels (organic / paid / direct / referral etc) are driven forward and delivered to target. You should seek out opportunities and jump on issues as they arise. You will work with the various teams to deliver this (SEO/PPC/Marketing).

  • Response / Conversion - the key part of our marketing is to increase conversion (ie how many people are applying to jobs on our job boards). You will be responsible for driving this through our various teams.

  • On-site content and revenue - Create and deliver on strategies to drive increased site content. This includes both self service (advertisers placing a job ad themselves) and other forms of content acquisition (feeds, partnerships etc).

  • B2B - ensure that our B2B marketing plans are created and executed in line with business and sales strategy.

    • Lead generation for our sales team is a key task and it’s important that strategies are developed with our team to deliver a continued stream of warm leads.

    • Self Service - we have solid plans to grow revenue through our self serve (E-Commerce) service and these are executed in lines with revenue expectations

  • Reporting - working with our analysts you will ensure that we have clear and detailed reporting to review with the management team and the CEO to ensure we are making data based decisions on performance and future plans

  • Competition - ensure that the team are fully aware of competitor activity, market information and become industry experts for their fields.

  • Develop and train team - performance management of the team and improving their skills is a key part of the role

  • Be responsible for targets and targeting of the team

  • Ensuring all marketing communications are high quality through sign off procedures

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU'LL NEED:

  • A passion for digital marketing and an eagerness to learn new tools and techniques

  • Strategic and process minded with a good ability to generate strong and sensible ideas that are data-led

  • Strong listening and questioning skills and firm but understanding managerial style

  • Enthusiasm, drive and someone who loves ticking things off their to-do-list!

 

BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3 years digital marketing experience

  • People Management experience

  • Sound understanding of marketing principles

  • A 'get stuff done' attitude
