Group Marketing Manager - Construction Industry - Stoke on Trent- £35-45k

The Company looking for Group Marketing Manager:

You will be joining an ambitious company looking to lead the way in their industry. Continuously growing, the group are looking to expand through development of existing practices and acquiring new services to offer. With two main brands in the group to oversee both boasting top three status in their niche markets offering a better all-round service to their customers. The office is friendly, laid back and social with regular social events, pay day breakfast and an annual company wide conference.

The Role of Group Marketing Manager:

The main objective of this position will be to develop and manage the implementation of the group marketing strategy. As the role is a new position, there will be plenty of scope to grow the position with autonomy and independence. A focus will be to centralise messaging for group marketing and manage remote marketing teams so some travel will be involved (estimated twice a month).

  • Develop the marketing strategy and plan across group
  • Ensure the brand's message is consistent in marketing communications
  • Coordinate the marketing team's implementation of the overall strategy
  • Stakeholder management, including directors and the sales teams
  • Present and report to the board of directors
  • Supervision of website and content updates

For the Group Marketing Manager Position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

The company are looking for a candidate who is driven, has independent thinking and able to work autonomously. Confidence is key as you will be presenting regularly to member of the board on your strategy for the group's marketing plan. Experience working in the construction/building industry would be advantageous, as would marketing qualifications, but it isn't a necessity. You will need to have 2-3 years' experience in a management or group level management role.
