For our client, understanding their customer’s needs and delivering an excellent customer experience is of the highest importance to them. As is demonstrating their knowledge and passion for all things cycling!

They are seeking a passionate, results driven, first class marketing manager to deliver performance based marketing campaigns in terms of generating cost effective lead generation and measurable consumer demand. Their ideal candidate has experience developing and executing a B2C marketing strategy while also keen to build, manage and inspire a team. B2B experience is also desirable.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

• Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
• Lead the execution of marketing programmes from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
• Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
• Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
• Manage, create and execute day to day email and social media campaigns.
• Manage external suppliers who supply design and creative functions or other sales and marketing support functions.

Marketing Manager Requirements:

• You must have (minimum) 2-3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
• Digital Marketing experience
• Google Analytics, Google Ads & Google Data Sudio qualified/certified
• Working knowledge / experience of Wordpress CMS and Mailchimp (or similar email platform)
• Experience of Microsoft Office

It may also be beneficial if you’re familiar with (and better still if you have qualifications/certifications in the following areas):

• Google Cloud tools
• Google Squared
• Facebook Blueprint
• Marketing Automation platform e.g. Hubspot or Marketo

Location: Home Working / Remote Working with travel eventually to offices in Manchester or London
