Overview of the role:

We are looking for a creative, innovative Marketing Manager, who can bring our marketing strategy to life, showcase our products and drive market interest. The role will primarily focus on our award-wining employability product Aptem Employ and will broaden out to launching new products in the coming months.

You will work in a marketing team of four people, supported by designers, web designers, copywriters, researchers and videographers. Our team works very closely with the wider Business Development team, to support the customer journey from initial contact through to customer and beyond.

This is a challenging, varied and fast-paced role. You will be reporting into the Marketing Director and will work closely with the rest of the marketing team.

This role requires you to work in our offices in Camden for two-three days a week, home-working is considered on the other days. We will also consider part-time candidates, four days a week. 

Key responsibilities:

·       Contributing to the existing strategy

·       Setting up and managing the following activity:

o   Webinar events using Go To Webinar

o   LinkedIn organic and sponsored posts

o   E-campaigns using Pardot

o   Partnerships

o   Membership events including webinars, commissioning research, sponsorship opportunities, face-to-face events etc.

o   Roundtables

o   PR

o   Content marketing strategy, producing regular editorial pieces to be distributed across numerous channels including WordPress website.

§  White paper briefs

§  Brochures

§  Surveys

o   Award submissions

·       Working with the Marketing Director to identify new marketing opportunities.

 

Specifically:

·       Content creation – our marketing strategy starts with a content marketing strategy. You will be expected to contribute ideas to this at the weekly and monthly planning meetings, and generate content including:

o   Infographics

o   Animated Gifs

o   Long and short form articles

o   Brochure content

o   Videos

·       Pardot campaign management:

o   Set up and distribute emails to target audiences 

o   Ensure all campaigns are tracked correctly through to salesforce at individual campaign level

o   Create Dashboards within Salesforce to report on effectiveness of the marketing activity and proactively suggest improvements

o   A/B test campaigns where appropriate

·       Event management: 

o   Setting up and management of webinars/ other events. 

o   Liaising with any third parties. 

o   Producing and distributing follow up communications for attendees/registrants/no contacts. 

o   Contributing to promotion of events (with help of Marketing Director). 

o   Reporting on effectiveness of events – clicks from marketing campaigns, attendance, follow ups, leads, opportunities and conversions. 

o   Liaising with Sales team on follow ups. 

 

·       Uploading material to WordPress website:

o   Upload client logos, promotional videos, upload articles, news items, event participation and new content 

 

·       Contributing to LinkedIn regularly with content and setting up sponsored campaigns: 

o   Produce regular content – editorial, videos, animated gifs, images etc. to promote Aptem Employ both on Aptem owned page and sponsored.

o   Set up campaign landing pages on website where appropriate 

o   Create LinkedIn advertising campaigns.

o   Produce analytics and recommendations for improvements, to increase followers, engagement and impressions. Also determine effect on site visits as a result of social activity. 

 

Key skills:

·       Excellent copywriting skills – email marketing, editorial articles and social posts.

·       Excellent knowledge and experience using Pardot and Salesforce to execute and report on campaigns.

·       Good knowledge of WordPress

·       Good knowledge of LinkedIn for Business and LinkedIn organic

·       Good knowledge of Go To Webinar

·       Working knowledge of Office 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)  

·       Good knowledge of Canva – or equivalent to produce graphics / gifs etc.

·       Ideally knowledge of video editing.

·       At least 3 years experience at Marketing Manager level.

·       Ideally experience in the employability or vocational training sectors (not mandatory).
