Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced Marketing Manager with a proven track record in increasing customer engagement? Can you manage and deliver an outstanding digital communications and engagement strategy? Are you committed to providing an excellent customer experience?

Our client is offering this newly created role to help them effectively communicate its product range and find the best way to present the message, brand and benefits to the potential customer. You’ll generate demand and oversee all marketing efforts to develop content, activate the right channels and sales materials to drive adoption and revenue. This is an exciting opportunity with lots of scope for innovation and creativity to define and execute strategies that drive measurable growth in adoption, engagement and loyalty for their products. You'll work closely with stakeholders across marketing, operations, customer services as well as external partners to design and deliver communications and experiences that educate, inspire and delight their members and other customers at key moments in their customer lifecycle.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

Knowing your customers

• Develop buyer and user personas and identify key buying criteria.
• Deep understanding of competitive products and their value proposition.
• Use data and analytics to validate the product value proposition.

Articulate their value proposition

• Identify the key problems their products solve for their customers and craft a value proposition that resonates with their buyers.
• Develop content that generates demand, increases adoption and builds retention.
• Creativity so their products stand out in a competitive market and translate technical language into simple and clear messages.

Delivery of your marketing plan

• Develop a comprehensive plan that shows the outputs you expect at each stage.
• Manage campaigns with the right mix of search, paid, owned and email marketing channels.
• Produce detailed campaign reporting including attribution data wherever possible.
• Project manage your campaigns and contribute to the organisation- wide marketing plan.

Marketing Manager Requirements:

• Graduate level in marketing with significant experience in a product development/B2B role.
• Strong plan and prioritisation acumen. Managing competing priorities and focusing on the important (but not urgent) outputs get delivered.
• Expert in using marketing automation tools, CRM and Google Analytics.

This role will suit someone with significant experience in product development or B2B marketing with a proven track record of driving growth and identifying opportunities. Within 6 months, they would like to see value propositions and messaging that resonates with customers, cross functional alignment and tracking success metrics accordingly as well as delivery of campaign metrics and generation of demand and conversion rates. They have a fantastic small marketing team to collaborate with and support in achieving a team goal.

When you join their team, you work remotely, so you can be based anywhere in the UK you like as long as you have reliable internet connection there’s no need to relocate. However, you will be expected to attend regular face-to face meetings, so you’ll need to be able to travel.

About our client:

They support, train and represent over 20,000 lawyers, paralegals, legal secretaries and other skilled professionals. Their job is to train, support and advocate for their members, while ensuring they uphold the professional standards they set. But they can’t succeed in that goal if they’re always looking backwards at how things used to be – how things have always been.

Location: Remote Working (with an expectation to attend meetings where required following social distancing guidelines)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, 35 per week

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
