Marketing Manager (B2B) Oxford,
This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial B2B focused marketer with proven experience of marketing to smaller businesses, ideally retailers. You will need bags of energy, a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
You will be joining an extremely ambitious business with huge potential who have seen an unprecedented increase in revenue since their inception. They were established less than three years ago with the aim of creating an exciting new brand to disrupt an industry that has a confusing and tired reputation.
Operating in the second largest retail market in the UK, this business are changing the way that consumers by products by offering an unrivalled customer experience and by building modern, digital, retail processes around what the end consumer actually needs.
This is a multi-channel marketing role where everything you do will be with the aim of raising the profile of the brand as well as acquiring and growing business via B2B customer channels. Working with the sales and account management team you will help generate a leads pipeline in order to attract new customers as well as deliver targeted campaigns that will help retain and expand existing customers. You will further support the sale process by providing the necessary marketing tools and materials in order to help them place and grow business.
Initially this will be a stand-alone position where you will be ultimately responsible for all marketing activity until you grow your team. You will need to be extremely 'hands-on', especially initially, and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the day to day. You will own your own budget and make your own decisions, including any hiring decisions.
Given the importance of this position we are looking for a stand-out individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who can really make an impact and deliver exceptional and measurable results. A proven background in marketing to other businesses, ideally smaller retail businesses, is required and you may have previously worked for a start-up business and been instrumental with the development and growth of the brand.
Either way you need to be a self-starter with a broad marketing skill-set, especially digitally, who is completely at home working autonomously in a fast paced and ever changing/growing environment.

Please note that this role is based on the Oxford outskirts and requires the individual to be office based initially. They are a flexible business and can offer remote working on a one or two day per week basis (after a settling in period), however, we are ideally looking for candidates that are happy to be offices based on a regular basis.
Due to the location of their Oxford office, this role could be of interest to those living in Oxford, Milton Keynes, Coventry, Northampton, Brackley, Bicester, Silverstone, and Royal Leamington Spa.
