The Role: This Demand Generation Marketing Manager is a new position within this growing technology provider. Reporting to the CMO the objective of the role is to build and grow the opportunity pipeline for the sales teams globally. This role will sit in a wider marketing team of eight people, working with product marketing, content, brand experts, digital and design to pull together integrated campaign activity. The role will have core KPI's including opportunity pipeline, lead volume, MQL's, and SQL's.

The company have invested in the latest marketing technology (Pardot, Salesforce) to enable this individual to build workflows, create automated lead nurture and lead scoring systems. The successful candidate will have experience working for a B2B organisation, marketing automation and working closely with sales teams to generate qualified leads.

Responsibilities for the position of Demand Generation Marketing Manager include:

  • Working with the CMO to establish key market and geography priorities
  • Meet and build relationships with the sales function to establish lead definition
  • Build out content (working with internal/external teams) for each stage of the marketing funnel
  • Develop the marketing automation workflows utilising Salesforce and Pardot
  • Optimising and innovating the marketing funnel management, including lead scoring, lead management and nurture campaigns to deliver needed pipeline
  • Exploring potential use of outside agencies to support demand generation needs and effectively manage outside resources
  • Utilising an integrated approach - email, social, events, digital
  • Creating an events calendar to supplement the brand awareness and lead generation marketing campaigns

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • 4+ years of experience with B2B digital marketing in technology, with a focus on demand generation and marketing automation
  • You will be a self-starter, willing to roll-up your sleeves and get the job done with support from a generation of young energetic executives
  • Experience of working closely with sales teams in a commercially focused marketing role
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to assess ROI
  • A deep understanding of the sales funnel and how marketing can support at each phase
  • An understanding and working knowledge of marketing automation tools (Hubspot and Salesforce ideally)
  • Used events to drive lead generation opportunity for sales
