DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Handmade team is looking for a customer-obsessed, creative and self-motivated Marketing Manager, based in the London office, to join our EU team to support driving brand growth, traffic driving and Customer acquisition. Amazon Handmade is a Marketplace-only store where Makers and Artisans can grow their businesses by selling their handcrafted products. Launched in EU5 in 2016, the Handmade business has seen strong growth and received rave reviews from Customers.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing channel ownership across EU5 – setting objectives, creating strategy and delivering results – to drive top line business growth. A successful candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The candidate should have a proven track record for leading successful marketing programs across multiple touch points and experience in brand marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, own, and execute on customer marketing activations for Amazon Handmade EU
· Write and localise marketing copy, work closely with design teams, build, launch and track campaigns, design A / B tests, measure results, and author reports to share with the broader organization
· Partner with cross-category and cross-site teams, PR and Legal to implement consistent messaging and high ROI campaigns
· Own campaigns marketing metrics (traffic, conversion) and measure the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns for reporting via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
· Participate in customer research programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other relevant areas
· 5+ years relevant work experience in consumer marketing, and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products with exposure to multi-channel marketing
· Experience with marketing strategy, including acquisition, engagement and promotions
· Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the customer experience
· Solid experience across multiple online marketing channels
· Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data.
· Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage large numbers of initiatives and coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandising team.
· Comfortable with quickly learning internal tools (merchandising, emails, data analysis) and processes for campaign generation and monitoring
· Outstanding writing, presentation and communication skills
· Able to thrive in an ambiguous environment helping bring structure and delivering results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in developing multi-category channel strategies that deliver a best in class customer experience
· Customer Lifecycle Marketing experience including use of CRM, and/or Engagement/Loyalty Marketing program
· Experience with iterative content testing including A/B testing and other statistical approaches to measure impact
· Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across category or other departments
· Advanced Excel, SQL and other data processing skills

· Working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
- Experience of working with tech teams on scaling marketing solutions
