Marketing Manager, BT Mobile

BT Mobile is just over three years old. We’re still in start-up mode and operate at pace to keep ahead of the competition. We’re growing fast but we don’t have all the answers yet – and that’s where you’ll come in.
We’re currently looking for two Marketing Managers to join the team, so you will be focusing on either our handset or sim only offering. We’re looking for people who put the customer at the heart of everything they do, who love the results side of marketing and have a real passion for BTL comms.
In this role, you will jointly own the BT Mobile customer lifecycle from onboarding through to recontracting. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering BTL upsell and recontracting campaigns whilst driving innovation in the email, SMS and the digital space.
You’ll be working within a supportive and talented team, with big budgets and some of the best agencies around to help you shine. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the norm, has a passion for creativity, data, testing and delivering results. It’s essential that you’ve had hands-on experience of delivering best in class cross channel BTL campaigns to be considered for this role.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be delivering results-focussed marketing campaigns to deliver sales, owning the definition and delivery of end to end marketing campaigns for BTL channels.
You will share accountability for a number of key metrics and targets, including re-contract rates and values, customer ARPU and cross selling other BT products.
You will work closely with agencies and the data team to ensure results are effective. This will include owning the creative agency brief and the data brief, ensuring there are clear success metrics for the campaign and use the learnings to develop future campaigns.

Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Mobile organisation. Telco, Insurance or other consumer services organisation would also be beneficial.
Solid CRM experience evidenced by the delivery of successful data-driven customer base marketing campaigns through BTL channels (SMS, Email, DM)
Experience evaluating customer churn, and how this impacts on marketing campaigns.
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders across different levels and different areas of the business
Highly numerate and results orientated - lives and breathes volume performance on a daily basis
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail with ability to take a step back and see the bigger strategic picture
