Marketing Manager / SEO Manager 

Our client is a fast-moving Group, which requires high calibre personnel who are able to cope with the challenges that this environment brings. 

Position: SEO Manager
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire (Commutable from Wellingborough, Northampton, Market Harborough and surrounding areas) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: £45k to £50k per annum 

About the role: 

The SEO Manager is a critical member of the marketing team, responsible for implementing SEO and social media strategies for clients. The SEO Analyst can quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to company sales targets. 

Responsibilities: 

- Planning and implementing site navigation and page content to drive and grow search engine visibility, working closely with the Content Manager 
- Responsible for collating and interpreting SEO performance, updating and interpreting organic performance data and enabling appropriate decision-making on activity 
- Convener of actions arising from SEO audits, monitoring, maintenance and opportunity-spotting 
- Owner of overall organic search reporting, using visibility reporting alongside GA reporting and other data 
- Manages the SEO Dashboard that track impressions, clicks, average position, CTR, returned URLs and keyword numbers 
- Works closely with the Website team to ensure all elements of site navigation and technical aspects are optimised for search engine crawling and search engine visibility 
- Constantly reviews data to evolve and improve decision-making 
- Researches relevant and high quality sites for outreach content/partnerships and relevant linking 
- Creates and implements effective promotional and outreach programmes/campaigns of high quality, in conjunction with the Content Manager 
- Develops relevant blog content, working closely with the Content team to produce high quality posts 
- Supports the Landing Page Test Programme and recommends testing chronology for Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) 

About you: 

- Advanced experience in Search Engine Marketing 
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Wordpress, Microsoft Power BI and Tableau 
- An excellent understanding of SEO in the past and present, with excellent knowledge of key Google algorithm changes in the last five years 
- Experience of Git for version control and multi-dev workflows 
- Excellent experience with responsive development and mobile first practices 
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google 360 as well as internal reporting tools 
- Experience working with popular ad platforms (AdWords, Yahoo, Bing) 
- Proficiency in Wordpress, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments 
- Experience of selecting and working with third party digital agencies 
- Understands and works with revenue and trading models 
- Highly commercial and able to work confidently with data and analytics tools 
- Understands detailed digital campaign tracking and metrics, linking to contact centre dynamics 
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations would be desirable
