Marketing & Sales Specialist
Amazon Advertising

Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. A strategically important part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising programs to enable tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. We are building a team for Self Service Advertising in EU, who will own adoption, advertiser success for existing and new self-service advertising programs. This team will have functional expertise in marketing, product, account management, market analysis and program management. Working directly with advertisers, we will develop strong feedback mechanisms to inform and influence the product roadmap.

We are customer-obsessed and the ideal candidate will take ownership of one-to-one and one-to-many outreach channels to drive the growth of new advertisers on the platform. The Marketing & Sales Specialist will have marketing, sales and program management skills and will become owner of advertisers’ acquisition and retention initiatives in UK, outreaching advertisers through phone, mail, webinars, events, as well as reporting on success metrics and constantly looking for new solutions to further drive business’ growth. This person will work directly with advertisers to drive advertising campaign creation, best practices implementation to ensure long-term success, handle advertiser inquiries and assist with marketing projects.

We are looking for a driven and pro-active self-starter with strong communication & analytical skills, high attention to detail, and experience working with customers by phone and email. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly and can execute in an environment characterized by speed, fun, and collaboration.

The position is based in London.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in sales or customer service role
· Experience in e-mail marketing, traffic or digital marketing
· Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills
· Analytical skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in a marketing/business/engineering-related discipline
· Other languages knowledge is a plus(one or more among Spanish, French, German, Italian)
· Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Marketo
· Familiarity with SQL
· Familiarity with search advertising
· Experience working in a B2B environment in a sales-related role
