Media Tagging Implementation Manager

** AWARD WINNING MEDIA AGENCY - GLOBAL CLIENT **

CLIENT

One of the UK's leading Media Agencies is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious media tag management specialist.

This role works in a team of specialists delivering a variety of services to clients including data visualisation, machine learning, data management platform (DMP) management, digital insight and data governance and in this role, you will be the SME on media tagging. With this in mind, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of media tagging strategy across all digital properties for a global travel and tourism client.

We need someone who is excited to really own the tagging piece for this client, taking a strategic approach to helping them use this to drive overall media optimisation and performance.

Technically you will have come from either an Ad-Operations, Digital Analytics or Web Developer background, with strong skills in using tag management systems as well as coding experience with tools such as Javascript and HTML in order to design, implement and maintain tags across multiple digital media channels and websites.

So regardless of your years of experience you need to demonstrate depth of knowledge, passion and entrepreneurial spirit - the client will consider people at mid-level through to senior for this role.

POSITION - Media Tagging Implementation Manager

LOCATION - London

SALARY - £45k - £55k plus excellent benefits

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITES

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject
  • Ability to read, write JavaScript and HTML code.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Have an understanding of the role of tracking technologies and how it underpins digital ad operations
  • Hands-on experience with ad server technology solutions (i.e. DoubleClick/DCM, Sizmek, AdForm and FlashTalking).
  • Savvy with respect to technical concepts and workflows that underpin digital analytics, such as debugging tools (i.e. HTTPWatch, Fiddler, Ghostery, Google Tag Assistant, Charles or Firebug), first- vs third-party cookies and data encryption
  • Hands-on experience with tag management systems (i.e. Tealium, Ensighten, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, Signal) in web and mobile app environments
  • Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practices
  • Quantitative mind set, with a desire to work in a data-intensive environment
  • Passion for both digital media and digital technology
  • Curious by nature with strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Savvy with respect to technical concepts and workflows that underpin digital analytics, such as debugging tools (i.e. HTTPWatch, Ghostery, Google Tag Assistant, Charles or Firebug), first- vs third-party cookies and data encryption
  • Comfortable working in a business setting and someone who has business acumen and an innovative mind-set.
