This position is an excellent opportunity for a proactive marketing executive to drive digital acquisition as part of the UK Consumer Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Manager, the Digital Acquisition Executive will be responsible for acquiring new Cardmembers for American Express by utilising and maximizing opportunities within Amex owned digital channels for Member-get-Member (refer a friend programme). Responsibilities will include ownership and management of the end to end MGM customer experience, pushing the boundaries and driving significant growth through ongoing journey optimization as well delivery of several game changing enhancements to the MGM journey and experience. MGM is one of the largest digital acquisition channels for the UK and over the last four years has seen outstanding growth driven by continual innovation and test and learn.

The Digital Acquisition Executive will need strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to take ownership of their work and display initiative. They will need to be capable of working and liaising with internal teams to develop strong working relationships and deliver against challenging targets.

Key goals are to:

*

Drive the acquisition of new cards against challenging targets

*

Maximize efficiency of the MGM journey through delivery against key metrics (bounce rates, submit rates, conversion rates etc)

*

Day to day management and growth of the MGM programme, working across the UK business and with Central teams

*

Opportunity to own, lead and manage delivery of big enhancements to the digital experience and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for MGM over the course of the next few years

*

Manage delivery and updates of product web pages

*

Manage ad hoc updates to MGM bonus levels to support Incentive testing

*

Develop testing strategy for the channel, ensuring ongoing site optimization T&L throughout the year

*

Analysis of test results and acquisition performance. Preparation of reports to key stakeholders

*

Tracking optimization

Offer of employment

Qualifications

Required skills:

*

Marketing experience, preferably in Digital

*

Good understanding of interactive technologies, consumer attitudes and online behaviour

*

Proven track record of campaign/project management and implementation – with proven ability to innovate

*

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable working with a range of reports

*

Excellent oral and written communication

*

Solid understanding of card economics and financial concepts, e.g. ROI

*

Good working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word

*

Experience with Omniture Web Analytics and STAR a plus

*

Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
