Job Title: Marketing (Online, Offline) and Business Development Assistant

Location: Stockport - Greater Manchester

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

The Company is a well-established engineering design studio working within the property & construction sector with a genuinely friendly working environment. They are the current CIBSE (their professional body - The Institution of Building Services Engineers) "Employer of The Year" in the SME category.

They welcome creative professionals who are passionate about building services engineering design, building & energy modelling & architecture.

The Role:

The role would be ideal for someone who is motivated and aspires to develop into a Business Development Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Assist the Marketing Director in dealing with prospective clients, bring in new business, as well as keep their current clientele happy
  • Assist the Marketing Director with bid writing and the completion of "SQs"
  • Manage their Social media daily - boost awareness, traffic and as a result leads / sales
  • Manage their emailer footer news feed daily
  • Maintain and update their online presence + create new web site content
  • Prepare press releases & maintain close contact with media outlets
  • Update brochures with the creation of new case studies, including managing the obtaining of professional photographs, employing professional photographers were required
  • Update design engineers' CVs on a monthly basis
  • Organise events and exhibitions, collect data to form reports on campaign and website performance, and ensure that print and digital mail outs are delivered effectively
  • Support the studio in day-to-day administrative tasks where required

The Candidate would be:

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, confident
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A pleasing demeanour with strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Social Media platforms - Blogs, Newsletters, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
  • Ability to write engaging and grammatically correct content in both marketing material and bid writing
  • Marketing or related qualification, Commercial experience, Architecture/Construction knowledge would give you an advantage above others
