Description

Here at AXA Partners, we intend to always make sure that we can deliver to the best of our ability no matter what happens. We are looking for an Operational Resilience and Physical Security Manager to spearhead our business continuity plan, working independently, liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure planning is appropriate, fully documented and tested in line with on-going commitments.

Please note that this is a contract role until the end of 2019.

Responsibilities:

*
Provide and regularly review all documentation relating to business continuity, Crisis management and Physical security management

*
Organise and ensure documents are signed off by nominated stakeholders

*
Represent the business at internal and external audits for operational resilience and physical security topics

*
Respond to tender RFI regarding our operational resilience, physical security and third party outsourcing arrangements.

*
Organise and run Operational resilience working group meetings once every two months

*
Complete the annual AXA Group Operational Resilience Assessment

*
Keep updated with system changes to understand any impact to Operational resilience planning

*
Arrange and coordinate technical recovery exercise at least annually

*
Manage and coordinate use of SendWordNow

*
Ensure the technical team draft a DR report for your review and monitor progress on actions raised

*
Arrange and coordinate phone cascade test, and Business continuity test annually

*
Draft test and exercise reports and track any follow up actions
Attend group led training sessions

*
Attend AXA UK Operational Resilience Managers meetings

*
Run annual awareness programme\training on Operational Resilience and Physical security

*
Responsible for all outsourcing activity to ensure full adherence to AXA standards.

Ensure appropriate audit and control activity is applied working with appropriate stakeholders in the business according to the outsourcing activity.

Support adhoc documentation of processes as required

Qualifications

*
A Business Continuity professional with several years’ experience responsible for BCP

*
Demonstrates a solid understanding of business continuity principles and an aptitude to communicate this to inform staff across the business

*
Excellent written skills in particular experience of formal report writing and process documentation

*
Communication skills at various levels of hierarchy / seniority levels: tailor communication to varying audiences

*
Adapts fast to changing requirements

*
Welcomes a collaborative team approach

*
Able to support the implementation of the required governance

*
Business Line Stakeholders, Group Professional Families, Experts, Communities

*
Strong leadership and management skills;

*
Business acumen: Familiar with P&C Insurance desirable

The Assistance Business lines are part of the P&C Business Unit within AXA Partners Group organization. We specialise in Motor Breakdown, Home Emergency and Travel Insurance.

The P&C Business Unit is starting a full multi-year Transformation for all its business lines where most business processes and capabilities will be rebuilt.
Current IT solutions supporting the business are a mixture of local data centre within our Redhill office and an increasing number of solutions within a cloud environment.
