An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join a dynamic mid-tier accountancy firm, working 30 hours per week in the firm's St. Albans office. The role holder will manage all aspects of business development and marketing activity for the St Albans office with main responsibilities including:
  • Liaise with intermediaries and local business groups to develop ideas around joint initiatives.
  • Work with other members of BDM to provide a coordinated approach and share best practice and innovation.
  • Develop and update marketing collateral needed to support business development activity.
  • Develop, drive, project-manage and evaluate marketing campaigns.
  • Lead, attend and support monthly marketing and business development meetings.
  • Monitor competitor activity.
  • Use sector expertise and insight to position the office appropriately within the market.
  • Work with partners and PR and Comms to develop key marketing messages.
  • Work with partners and Head of Marketing to set and manage office BDM budgets.
  • Produce and edit copy for publications, including newsletters and online material.
  • Support partners on proposal delivery and manage/collate documents and information.
  • Ensure the corporate identity and brand profile is consistent throughout all marketing collateral, communications and events.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to maintain the office web pages and optimise SEO.
  • Work with partners to improve social media activity.
  • Identifying and attending networking events where necessary.
  • Working with partners and managers to develop and progress their pipelines.
  • Manage client feedback and the process of collecting testimonials.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the St. Albans area and have a desire to drive marketing and business development forwards. The Marketing & Business Development Executive will be an experienced marketing and BD specialist of graduate calibre or equivalent with similar experience gained preferably, in another accountancy firm or other professional services environment. This should include a demonstrable track record of delivering projects across the full marketing mix and experience of compiling a business development plan and researching sales opportunities.
