An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bids specialist to join a leading international law firm as a Pitch Executive.
This role will involve focusing on the firm's growth both through winning new business and through its international relations and expansion strategies to support the firm in their vision of building awareness, winning profitable new work and strengthening and deepening client relationships. You will support bids and tenders, working collaboratively with fee earners and the wider MBD team to create winning propositions. This will include providing insight into clients and markets by collating research for pre-tender, supporting large strategic pitches by drafting action plans and preparing proposal structures and collating content. The Pitch Executive will also assist in the production of pitch documents, ensuring materials are up-to-date, consistent and on brand and work with the wider BD team to help maintain credentials, case studies and biographies. In addition, the role holder's responsibilities will include supporting use of the firmwide opportunity log, creating reports and following up on
opportunities logged, maintaining lists of preferred external law firms from whom the firm receive work from, refer work to and jointly pitch with and monitoring and authorising any spend and ensuring spend is communicated to key stakeholders in the business.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, positive and proactive team player, with excellent communication and organisational skills developed in a professional services firm, ideally on an international basis, and experience of dealing with high value strategic pitches. In addition, the Pitch Executive will possess extensive and demonstrative experience working with key stakeholders.
