This role will be central in supporting the control and administration of the Britvic IT Department. A successful candidate would be expected to learn, improve and ultimately lead many of the key financial, governance and programme processes that are essential to enable the day to day and strategic operation of a modern IT department.
Opportunities and responsibility will arise within a small team who share the accountability for the delivery of key business processes. The successful candidate will undertake tasks on a thirteen-period annual cycle that contribute to the delivery of the following areas; with a view to ultimately establishing end to end proficiency and independence in all:
* Resource Management to include, Internal resource capitalisation process management, Contractor administration
* Programme Management Office (PMO) Governance:
* Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management
Project business case review and approval
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation
Project budget administration and governance
Capital expenditure reporting
* Purchase order administration
Invoice query reconciliation
* Operational Expenditure (OPEX) management
Operation expenditure budget creation and reporting
Underpinning all the above would be the requirement to constantly review and improve the processes involved in delivery with a goal to optimise expenditure and increase efficiency across the department.
This role will require someone to have very strong numerical skills as much of the role is numbers driven, good Excel and Powerpoint skills and feel comfortable working with senior stakeholders. We’d also expect this person will want to develop into the broader IT function in the future.
