We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Risk Analyst to join our team based in Triton Square.

The team’s primary role is to manage credit risk policies and to support delivery of commercial strategy whilst operating within Risk Appetite. This involves analysing information and trends relating to Wholesale, Corporate and Commercial portfolios.

As a Portfolio Risk Analyst your main responsibilities will be:

* Analyse trends relating to Wholesale, Corporate and Commercial portfolios, recommending remedial action to policies where required

* Review existing credit risk frameworks and policies, ensuring risks are understood and aligned with the Risk Appetite

* Contribute to the Risk Appetite setting process and Strategic Commercial Plans

* Provide guidance in credit risk policy and governance to stakeholders, interacting with senior management and a wide number of teams

* Undertake regulatory and other reporting requirements with accuracy and within agreed defined timeframes

* Manage all governance aspects of Corporate Bank Credit Risk Policy Forum

Minimum skills and experience required:

* Strong communication skills - senior stakeholder engagement

* Corporate and Commercial / Wholesale credit risk knowledge

* Strong written presentation skills (PowerPoint, Word)

* Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate and assess data using a range of tools (essential). VBA, SAS, SQL knowledge (desirable)

* Self-dependent ability to manage multiple work streams to tight deadlines
