An international management consulting firm focused on procurement and supply chain transformations and experiencing an exciting stage of growth and development now requires a PR and Communications Assistant.
The role holder will support the PR and Communications Manager with the development of internal communications activities including setting up focus groups to gather feedback on current communications activities, reporting and presenting feedback and subsequently implementing activities agreed with management. You will assist with the production of the firm's biannual global client magazine including checking final page proofs are accurate, suggesting suitable imagery and design ideas and liaising with printers on distribution, organise mailouts for the magazine and other content-marketing activity and will also prepare content for the quarterly in-house marketing newsletter. On the PR side the PR and Communications Assistant will support the PR and Communications Manager with the delivery of PR and content plans for individual markets, draft and edit articles, press releases, case studies and email copy, proofread stories before publication to the website and social media and obtain final sign-off from authors, organising peer reviews where necessary. Monitoring market trends, research and administrative tasks will also represent important elements of the role.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, preferably in a discipline involving the written word, with previous experience of working in marketing and communications within a professional services environment. The PR and Communications Assistant will need to be a team player with strong communications skills, both written and oral, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure whilst producing work of the highest quality. The ability to deal effectively at all levels in an organisation will be essential.
