PR & Communications Manager, Romford -
An outstanding not-for-profit organisation based in Romford is looking for a proactive PR & Communications Manager to join their friendly and energetic team on a full or part time basis on a contract to last until the end of the year. You will need to be well acquainted with the world of media and maximising positive representations, preferably within charity, to succeed within this role - enhancing awareness and donation opportunities.
Reporting to Head of Marketing and Communications, as PR & Communications Manager, your key responsibility will be focussed upon the effective development and implementation of an effective external communications strategy, inspiring a call to action within audiences.
Some of your other responsibilities will include:
-Development of a variety of informative collateral including newsletters, corporate booklet, publications and more;
-Ensuring all digital channels remain up to date with the most relevant information - this includes both social media and email campaigns;
-Engaging with media contacts to ensure maximum coverage across relevant networks - gaining maximum positive representation, and providing crisis communications where appropriate.
For this role, our client has outlined that you need a deep understanding of all communications aspects, including creation of compelling content and development and maintenance of strong and fruitful media relationships. You will need to have an analytical yet creative mindset - striving to add value through the recognition and proactive actioning of positive angles and appropriate distribution of key messages across a variety of on and offline channels. And lastly, being an outstanding communicator & organiser on all levels is essential to succeed in this diverse and fast-paced role.
