Press Officer, Enfield -
An excellent opportunity for an accomplished PR and communications professional has become available at this leading charitable institute based in Hertfordshire. This position has a wide degree of impact externally and requires a creative thinker with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. You will need a minimum of 2 years extensive press experience and a suitable skill set including press release creation, social media, website content, events and crisis management.
As Press Officer you will contribute to the effective operation of the press office. Important aspects of your remit will include, but not be limited to, producing accurate, targeted copy for a variety of media sources (both print and online). Responding to media enquiries and maintaining records of contact with journalists, you will also proactively seek positive media coverage in national, trade, consumer and regional media.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator to work as part of a supportive communications team within a thriving organisation. Due to the location of their South Herts based offices this role will be suitable those commuting from Hertford, Potters Bar, Cheshunt, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Enfield, Waltham Abbey, Epping, Harlow, Stevenage, Luton.
