We are thrilled to be recruiting a Pricing Analyst within our Personal
Lines Pricing team.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

What you will be
Based in London or Ipswich, in this role you will
be building and maintaining our market pricing optimisation framework and all
models that are used within it, as well as building the reporting tools
required to communicate the impact of the rate changes.
This means that you will have the chance to assist
in some exciting cutting-edge projects, as well as develop your data science
skills - all whilst working for a number 1 insurance brand.
Your responsibilities will include-
rate reviews to support the trading objectives of different accounts for
both Home and Motor Insurance
* Building optimisation
framework, running optimisation scenarios and coming up with optimised
and refreshing market pricing models used within the optimisation
automated reports to produce key performance indicators for the
Impact Analysis for rate recommendations and new pricing structures
and Monitoring competitor pricing activity
existing pricing models and ensuring their appropriate use and application
effectively and building strong relationships with the Underwriters and
other key customers

evidence of equivalent proficiency) you will need a
statistical know-how and insatiable curiosity and drive.

* First-rate mathematical
skills. At least a 2:1 degree in a mathematics related discipline or
evidence of equivalent proficiency
* A desire to learn and
develop appropriate statistical techniques to build pricing models within
an insurance environment
* Ability to work under
pressure and to tight deadlines
* Ability to come up with
innovative ideas and take pragmatic approaches to deliver projects
* Programming skills, SAS,
R/Python and knowledge of Pricing software (ideally the Towers Watson
* Knowledge of Machine
* Up to 1 years’ experience in pricing, or
an analytical focussed role
