Amazon is seeking a customer experience leader with strong expertise in brand development and marketing, to lead a research project that has a mandate to inform and impact significant change in Amazon products and services.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketer, researcher and/or management consultant, with strong experience in driving customer experience design across retail, e-Commerce and consumer products. The Principal, Brand Development Experience will be trusted to operate with complete independence, and will be in charge of driving key customer experience research projects globally; leading project teams, and defining future projects’ vision.

You will directly lead the design of the implementation and delivery of research innovation in customer experience, and drive a highly complicated cross-functional WW projects.

About you:
You have deep knowledge of emerging trends in marketing, social media, growth hacking, and tech and tools to drive growth, and are recognized in and outside of your team as an expert
You identify, prioritize, and tackle intrinsically hard problems, acquiring expertise as needed, and assess risk, drive clarity, and foster shared understanding by asking detailed questions about proposed solutions and/or strategies.
You create the correct sense of urgency for delivery, and proactively drive business decision with senior leaders, aligning teams toward coherent and effective business and marketing strategies.
You deliver written briefs and memos to senior leaders, and are comfortable communicating and engaging at all level
You influence strategic direction of a significant product or suite of product(s) and/or large engineering priorities or industry direction.

Key Responsibilities Include:
· Lead innovation for customer experience insights; identifying present and future issues for Amazon to consider tackling
· Scope and own the entire roadmap of customer experience research; visualizing the biggest opportunities, and engaging project team through to delivery
· Influence the strategic direction of major Amazon product and services; partnering with senior leaders to help drive change on behalf of customers
· Develop the foundation of a research and innovation lab in the practice, that could pave the way for future expansion of our global team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Extensive years of relevant professional experience
· Excellent interpersonal including verbal / writing communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualification:
· MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, or related fields
· Proven track successful record in retail or eCommerce.
· Background in marketing research, insights, and/or data driven marketing analytics
· Excellent awareness of emerging technology and trends in retail.
· Track record of delivering results in a highly ambiguous environment
· Deep analytical capabilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis
· Strong technical competency and ability to learn new systems and work with technology teams
