About the role:
The Procurement / Sourcing Administrator will administrate the developing strategies and assess the potential of current and future suppliers. By creating and administrating the right environment to conduct tenders you will be able to work with Sourcing network teams to administrate all documentation to implement planned sourcing projects.
It is essential to develop personal relationships and operational networks with the wider sourcing network and OpCos to enable project delivery and you must have a good understanding of vendor information processing through the KIPL contract framework.
They are creating a new centralised function; their Offer & Supply Chain team will be using their global buying power to source all their products more cost-effectively and in the same way from a wide range of international suppliers.
And they're distributing them more efficiently through a single, simplified, company-wide logistics network. With greater control over their supply chain, they can set prices consistently across all their brands using the insight and expertise of their people, with less influence from suppliers or local markets.
To be successful in this role you must have strong knowledge in product components and materials along with basic project management skills. With a strong passion for home improvement, products and customer value you will have good excel skills and a basic manufacturing awareness.
