Background

AXA PPP healthcare in Tunbridge Wells are recruiting for a Product Governance and Product Strategy
Manager

In
this newly created role, you will be leading a team who will develop and
establish product plans in line with the overall PPP strategy for existing
products as well as manage an associated product governance programme to ensure
compliance with regulatory and AXA standards.

This
is an influential role with great exposure across many parts of the business
and is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, global organisation.

AXA PPP’s head
office is based in Tunbridge Wells across 4 sites. This role in
particular will be based out of our International House building in Hawkenbury,
just outside of the town centre. So if

The role

* Lead
the shaping, definition, feasibility analysis, cost and benefit
development of product strategy and
plans for all existing healthcare insurance products across each of our
customer segments through cross functional/departmental input.

* Stakeholder
engagement, input and communication to establish and roll out the product
roadmap for existing products.

* Reporting
and presentation to provide wider assurance to group functions and Boards
and the regulator as required to demonstrate product suitability and
product approval process is robust and meets necessary standards.

* Responsibility
for creation and oversight of AXA PPP’s Product Governance framework
ensuring it’s in line with FCA expectations throughout the Product
Lifecycle.

* Responsible
for delivery of a programme of product governance reviews and risk
assessment to cover all of AXA PPP healthcare underwritten products in
line with FCA expectations and in line with our responsibility as a
manufacturer or co-manufacturer.
Provide ongoing assurance to the Board and CEO that products remain
suitable for our members, that the governance of product is suitably
robust and therefore meet FCA requirements.

* Oversight
of team activity to track the actions arising from product reviews and
monitoring to ensure that matters identified are resolved at the earliest
opportunity in accordance with regulatory expectations..

* Full
responsibility for the management of AXA PPP’s Product Governance meetings
to include establishing agendas, support to the chair and documentation of
meetings and decisions.

* Management
of team responsibility for overall Project Management of AXA PPP’s delivery
of insurance product change.

* Management
of 3 direct reports

including interaction with directors and senior managers

Health insurance
knowledge - desirable

Ability to manage and

In depth knowledge of
the UK regulatory framework as it applies to general insurance, in particular
health insurance, together with a good understanding of the expectations and
working practices of the FCA

Strong communication
skills

Good understanding of business processes as they
to product suitability and Conduct Risk.

Expert knowledge of insurance principles and practice
